Self-employed and with COVID-19
If you are self-employed who, due to COVID-19 were unable to work or you cared for someone with COVID-19, you can claim refundable tax credits.
According to the IRS, you can file a form 7202 if you:
- Conduct a trade or business that qualifies as self-employment income, and
- Are eligible to receive qualified sick or family leave wages under the Emergency Paid Sick Leave Act
